Some of the Lean tools used for Continuous Improvement are: 5S, Kaizen Events, Visual Management, 8 Wastes, Value Stream Mapping, Standardized Work, Process Design for Flow, Set-Up Reduction, Change Management, Built-in-Quality, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Error-Proofing (Poka-Yoke), Material Replenishment, Kanbans, HS&E Hazard Screening, PDCA, Toyota Multi-Skills Operator Matrix, Production Boards (Ahead-Behind), Operator Load Balancing, Daily Morning Tier Management and Supervisor Meeting, Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Reduction and Inventory Reduction.
